CMA CGM unveils new rates for shipments to and from the Americas
CMA CGM, the French container shipping line, has informed its customers of a forthcoming Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) set to take effect on December 1.
This initiative will impact shipments from the West Coast of South America to the US East Coast and the Gulf Coast, applying to all cargo types. The rate adjustment will amount to $250 per container.
Additionally, starting December 1, 2024, the RRI will also apply to shipments from the West Coast of South America and the East Coast of Central America to St. John, Canada, with a rate increase of $100 per container for all types of cargo.
