Due to Hurricane Milton, most Florida ports have been shut down, with the earliest reopening anticipated on October 11th

Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3 storm Wednesday evening, forcing the closure of several Florida ports. Despite being downgraded from a Category 5, the National Hurricane Center warned of life-threatening storm surges, strong winds, and flash flooding. Ports like Tampa Bay and Manatee remain closed under Port Condition ZULU, while Jacksonville aims to reopen by Friday. Milton is expected to weaken after moving off Florida’s east coast on Thursday, though inland transport disruptions and tornadoes remain concerns across the region.
