FitsAir Expands Colombo-Dhaka Service with Additional Weekly Flights
FitsAir, Sri Lanka’s leading low-cost airline, is expanding its Colombo-Dhaka route with two additional weekly flights, increasing service from three to five flights per week. This enhanced schedule offers greater flexibility and convenience for travelers between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The newly added flights will operate from February 15 to March 29, 2025, with departures on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The increased frequency ensures seamless travel options for both business and leisure passengers while maintaining FitsAir’s commitment to affordability.
“As Sri Lanka’s first privately-owned international airline, our mission is to provide affordable, reliable, and on-time travel experiences,” said Ammar Kassim, Executive Director of FitsAir. “Expanding our Dhaka operations strengthens regional connectivity, giving passengers more options and flexibility. We are already planning to increase service to six flights per week during the summer season.”
FitsAir continues to expand its regional presence, offering daily flights to Dubai and Malé, as well as three weekly flights to Chennai. The airline remains committed to enhancing connectivity across key travel destinations while delivering a cost-effective and efficient flying experience.
