ONE Introduces Aegean Express (AEX) for 2025: Enhanced Connectivity Between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean
Ocean Network Express (ONE) is set to launch its new Aegean Express (AEX) service in January 2025, designed to bolster connections between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean region. The AEX service promises a streamlined and efficient transport solution, focusing on fast transit times and comprehensive coverage along its route.
The weekly AEX service will connect major ports, including London Gateway (UK), Antwerp (Belgium), and Rotterdam (The Netherlands), with key Mediterranean hubs like Piraeus (Greece), Istanbul (Turkey), Gebze (Turkey), Gemlik (Turkey), and Aliaga (Turkey). By leveraging ONE's transhipment hubs in Rotterdam, Piraeus, Istanbul, and Damietta, this service ensures seamless integration with the carrier's expansive feeder network, facilitating enhanced connectivity across Europe and the Mediterranean.
AEX’s North-South connectivity aims to serve customers with industry-leading transit times, enabling businesses to move goods more efficiently between these important regions. Additionally, customers will benefit from a broad range of port and inland service options, along with dedicated local support to ensure smooth cargo handling and delivery.
ONE will operate four vessels on this weekly service, providing consistent and reliable sailings. The company’s strategic focus on connecting major global trade hubs reinforces its commitment to offering flexible and competitive shipping solutions.
