Yang Ming unveils two new service routes in the Europe/Mediterranean region
Taiwanese container carrier Yang Ming has announced two new service routes to expand its network across Europe and the Mediterranean. Starting in January 2025, the carrier will launch the North Europe-Aegean Express (NEA) and North Europe-Levant Express (NEL) services, designed to enhance service speed and coverage in response to rising demand in European markets.
The NEA service will connect Northern Europe with the Aegean Sea region, deploying four vessels on a fixed 28-day weekly rotation. Its port sequence will include London Gateway (UK), Antwerp (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Piraeus (Greece), and several Turkish ports: Istanbul, Gebze, Gemlik, and Aliaga, before returning to Piraeus and then London Gateway.
Similarly, the NEL service will link Northern Europe with the Levant region, also operating with four ships on a 28-day fixed weekly schedule. The NEL rotation will cover London Gateway, Rotterdam, Hamburg (Germany), Antwerp, El-Dekheila (Egypt), Damietta (Egypt), and Mersin (Turkey) before returning to London Gateway.
These new routes reflect Yang Ming’s commitment to providing faster and more reliable connections between Europe and the Mediterranean.
